On October 5, 2024, the 40th World Sabaki Challenge, the 30th All Japan Sabaki Challenge, and the celebration of Kancho's 70th birthday took place in Fukuoka, Japan. 217 fighters from over ten different nations are competing in this year's global tournament, which is being overseen by Sou-Shihan Tetsushi Hayashi.
